Lake Manyara National Park has a splendid forest of mahogany, fig and wild mango and areas of yellow acacia in the vicinity of the lake. The famous Mto Wa Mbu river runs through this park and attracts all kinds of wildlife: elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, hippos, Nus, and cats like lions, leopards, hyenas, and cheetahs. If you are lucky, you will see tree-climbing lions.
